VIP Early Access: Opening Ceremony Tower of London & Bridge Entry

Great tour

Our tour guide Don was fantastic. Great history lesson all around. I would highly recommend this tour. Great way to avoid the long line ups as well.

Early Admittance to Tower

Early admittance meant NO LINES, which was great. Our problem was that our particular guide didn't speak loudly enough and kind of hurried through all of his talks. Not the best guide for our grandson, who is going on 11.

Well worth it!

We enjoyed our guide, Ben. His tidbits of information really breathed life into the history of the Tower. Hearing the description of the opening ceremony by beefeater Chris was quite fascinating. Of course the crown jewels were spectacular. It was nice to see them with fewer people.

Worth the tour price!

Our tour guide Ben did an absolutely great job. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. Getting into the Tower of London early and seeing the opening ceremony was worth the cost of the tour. I would highly recommend it!

Beefeaters, Jewels and Much More

Easy to locate in terms of meet up place. The opening ceremony with the beefeaters was special and this tour allowed us to get a bit in front of the crowd. This is a longer tour as you see the Crown Jewels and then the Towers… you then head to The Tower Bridge. We elected to climb to the top - it’s a LOT of steps! Wear good shoes.

Great tour!!

What a fantastic experience!! John our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. I was so glad we got in early & did not have to stand in a long line to see everything. Plus the history shared by our guide made everything even better!! I highly recommend booking this tour to get the most out of your time & money!

Great tour

Our guide was Ben and he was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and gave many interesting facts Enjoyed the whole tour.

Fantastic

Loved our tour. Ben was a great tour guide - knowledgeable and likeable. Early access to the Crown Jewels was a big plus - no line ups. All very interesting - recommended

Great Experience through Heavy History

Our Guide (John) was exceptional. He provided excellent context and stories to the to visuals we were experiencing. Punctual, inclusive to the entire group, and plenty of time to experience the site.

Tour was subpar and cancelled the rest of our tours with your company

Guide rambled on about nothing and we didn’t get vip access to the Crown Jewels before the General public. His history of Henry viii daughter was incorrect as well. Very disappointed

Great Tour

John was a great guide. Our group was gray and very helpful. We enjoyed the history of the Tower. We did not have a lot of time to explore the tower grounds before we had to get to the Tower Bridge.

Exceptional tour in London

Our tour guide John did an amazing job! I was so impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness. Getting early access to the tower allows you to witness the daily opening ceremony. You cannot see this unless you are inside the grounds. John made sure to get us over to the crown jewelers right away. Was so nice to be able to take our time viewing without the crowds. John provided unique historical details and also pointed out the top things to see within the tower. For the last hour of the tour you are left on your own to explore. If you want to do the tower bridge you have to leave when that hour is up, so if you think you’ll need or want more time than that either pick another tour or skip the tower bridge. Highly recommend this tour, and this company!

Excellent tour experience.

John was a great guide. He did a terrific introduction and then got us in to the very first group for the Crown Jewels entrance. We had plenty of time to explore the site and John provided a lot of inside information and insights. Great tour and well worth the price. Thank you.

Early Morning Access Rocked!

Wonderful itinerary and John was a very thoughtful, informed guide. We'll remember both the stories shared and the experience of visiting both the Tower complex and the Bridge. Amazing history and the early morning access is well worth it!

Tower tour

We had an excellent time!. This was very well arranged and the tour guide ( Don) was quite knowledgeable and friendly. Timing was impeccable. It would’ve taken us the entire day to see all that we saw in two hours. The organization of the tour throughout the entire tower of London was very smart, smart done and much appreciated. I highly recommend this tour with a small group and early entry.

Great tour, great guide!

John was a great tour guide. Interesting, great stories and very informative!!! The tour gives a special early entry to the tower and an insider’s feel.

Must do experience

Must see experience for The Tower and tower bridge! This was well worth the money for a close and personal opening ceremony experience. It was also super helpful to get into see the Crown Jewels before the crowds arrived. Later in the morning the line to get into see the jewels was very very long. We enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend it to others!

Highly recommend!

John was fantastic! He was incredibly informative, friendly and kind. Highly recommend taking this tour as you learn alot about the old city and new! My husband and I really feel like this tour helped immerse into London! We only had 1.5 days there and this was well worth the few hours.

Look at the architecture!

This tour was all-inclusive, from the minor opening ceremony to jewels and buildings to the bridge. The ceremony and jewels were the least interesting part of the day. The highlights were definitely in the Tower complex information from our guide, and the visit in the tower buildings. The outside was lovely to walk around on our own. There is a small cafe inside which is needed because you are stuck inside the complex for the morning, but that’s a good thing. The Tower Bridge is also worth getting inside, and has elevators for seniors to make it easy. We had a great lunch at the end at the Tower restaurant at the bottom of the bridge engine room, Greek food. All in all, a good mix of guided tours and on your own tour.

Time is very valuable!

Ben was a wonderful tour guide. He had that perfect balance between giving us a lot of information and letting us have space to talk and experience it with our family. It was neat to see the ceremony and walk through the side gate, talking to a few beefeaters who live there, but the best part was skipping the line that would have take a couple of hours to see the jewels. We were able to see all of the tower and bridge in a morning and then go eat some yummy indian food and see a play in the afternoon rather than spend our whole day in line at the tower!

Best way to view the crown jewels

We really enjoyed the tour and worth the extra money to see the crown jewels before the general public. Our Tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Meeting place was easy to find. Bonus was tower bridge entry and views from the top.

Great tour!

What a great tour! John our tour guide was so knowledgeable and made the tour really enjoyable. There is so much to see here - be sure to have good walking shoes. The Crown Jewels exhibit was so impressive, especially for us that weren’t as familiar with them. Glad they had a cafe on site to grab lunch. Tower bridge was also a must see. You can walk up the 200 stairs to the platform or take the elevator and see the old steam engines.

Great opening ceremony tour with no crowds for about 45 minutes

Don was a great tour guide. He was at the meeting place before the time posted and he said hello to each of us and checked us in. It was a short walk and we were quickly inside to see the opening ceremony. Don walked us to the Crown Jewels first as the line grows very quickly. He told us about different buildings and let us go off on our own. We met back up and went to Tower Bridge where is said goodbye and we could then visit for as long as we wanted. Don kept a nice pace and everyone was able to keep up.

Not just about the Crown Jewels!

My aim was to see the Crown Jewels before it was too crowded. What I received was soooo much more! Our guide was funny, informative, knowledgeable about all things concerning the Tower and Tower bridge. We did get in to see the Crown Jewels early, but we also got to see a lot more and had history brought to life. I’m very pleased with this tour.

Glass walkway on Tower...

Glass walkway on Tower Bridge Should give each person a map of the Tower complex. Mary was an excellent tour guide.

Excellent tour

Our guide, Mark, was hugely informative as well witty. The early access was such a bonus as we beat the crowds into the Crown Jewels.

A Must See Excursion to see with Mark

Mark is an excellent tour guide. The Tower Castle is like a city with all the buildings within. Seeing the armory was very interested especially with the backstory and other information before we headed in. Looking at weapons of torture and hearing the history of the place especially the six wives of Henry VIII was very interesting. The Crown Jewels were my favorite part and Mark gave us the best vantage points so we knew how to walk through the exhibit and gather the most information. All the information about executions, the hawks and other animals that lived in castle was another part of the visit.

Worth the time and money

The early morning tour was fabulous. It was so nice to get in ahead of the crowd. Our tour guide was really good at his job. He provided wonderful information and told us where to stand to get the most out of our visit.

Excellent experience for my daughter and I

Tour guide was excellent! Despite the rain, he was knowledgeable and very engaging. Highly recommend this tour

History, Bling and Torture

Our guide, John was knowledgeable and friendly. We could not have asked for a better experience. He had a thorough knowledge of history and could answer all of our questions.

Well worth it

This tour was well worth it. John was a talented guide. He gave us great historical information (albeit, at times a bit much for some) about the areas we were visiting. The opening ceremony was great to witness and beating the crowds was key. The crown jewels were spectacular. We felt like we had ample time on our own to explore and enjoy the sites of the fortress before making our way to the Tower of London. We took the lift to the top and marveled at the sites and experience. Highly recommended.

Great tour!

Jo was a great guide. So knowledgeable, lots of info and got us to the front row to view the various maneuvers involved in the changing of the guard at various locations. Good sense of humor and a great time.

Totally worth it!!!

Worth every penny! The day of our tour was rainy, cold and windy but it didn’t matter because we still had an amazing time. Ben, our guide was witty, informative and wonderful! An absolute delight! Getting in early before the public to witness the presentation of the King’s Keys, being greeted by a Beefeater and viewing the Crown Jewels made this tour extra special. We also had VIP access to the London Bridge. So happy we booked this tour!

Great tour worth the money

John the tour guide was so knowledgeable loved his story about the thief trying ti steal crowned jewels. Loved the history. Going in early was great

Tower of London

Great tour. John was a great guide. Early access was for the opening of the tower was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour began at the...

Our tour began at the Tower of London with the opening ceremony for the Tower .. and with the early access we were able to see the Crown Jewels before the crowds ...Words cannot express how amazing all of this was, the exhibit is very informative. We then walked to the Tower Bridge, where our guide gave us our tickets and then we all walked over the bridge for some great views of London.

Jewels

Early entry was the way to go!!!! The guide was informative and kind. Enjoyed the tour. Could spent all day looking at the beauty and workmanship of the jewels.

Tower of London tour was amazing.

Our Guide (John) was very articulate, knowledgeable and answered questions without trouble. We could have spent another two hours touring the both.

Highly Recommend This Tour

Don Whitfield with Letz Go City Tours was a phenomenal tour guide. We had such a great time on this tour. Getting into the Tower of London early for the Opening Ceremony was awesome. Highly recommend this tour.

Great tour

Awesome tour our guide John was very good and knowledgeable . Early entry was really good the crowds after would have made seeing some things harder. The Beefeater was great and the information enlightening

Amazing

Ben was great! He was so informative! He was funny and told us some great information. We went on the day of the London Marathon which made it more fun

Exceptional experience!

Our guide, John, was exceptionally knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. Very passionate about the Tower of London and its history. Seeing the opening ceremony was awesome, and obviously the Crown Jewels. A bonus was going up Tower Bridge and enjoying the spectacular views from high above the traffic. 100% recommended this activity!

We enjoyed the early am tour

John was knowledgeable and Funny. He went above and beyond describing Historical incidents. Book this tour and you will enjoy.

Good tour but not 3 hours, it is more like 4 hours

This was a good tour which includes early access to the opening of the Tower of London which includes the crown Jewels, and then Tower Bridge. It lasted 3 hours and then we git the bridge...which they give you the tickets to the bridge at the 3 hour mark and then you see the Tower and equipment rooms. We were in a tight schedule and since it said 3 hours, we thought that meant 3 hours. It is a 4 hour tour. We had to leave and missed the bridge part.

Worth it!

John was an excellent guide! Such a great tour, highly recommend. We had limited time in London and this allowed us to see so much and got a great overview with John’s knowledge. We had two adults and a 7 year old and it was perfect for all ages.

Terrific Tower Tour

Such a great tour! John, our guide, was a wealth of knowledge and he also had a great sense of humor. Our small group was one of only two small groups that were allowed in to watch the guards open the tower; it was both educational and really interesting. The tour was the perfect balance of time to explore and guided activities. We really appreciated it being in early, especially as the crowds were quite thick as we were leaving. Highly recommend - thanks to John and his guide abilities!

Royal Magnificence

Great guide! The Crown Jewels were magnificent… a must see! So much history. Great walk across the bridge.

Great day! Worth it!

The meeting time is early but totally worth it! Very clear instructions were given on how to find the meeting place. But you must be on time! As we have to beat the crowds! You cannot bring large bags as they are not allowed through security at the Tower of London. They will search your bags. You go in and are escorted privately by a Beefeater and he will speak to you for a bit before the guards come down with the keys to open the gates (Tory the general public in). So cool! Then you run up the hill to get the first look at the Crown Jewels. There was no line, we were the first ones. You then tour white tower on your own. Before being led out to tower bridge. You tour the bridge on your own as well. The guide will speak to you at several points along the way and give you information on the history. But they do not go into any of the buildings with you. Wear comfortable shoes! The ground can be uneven through the cobble stones! And you can climb the stairs at the bridge to beat the line for the lift. Overall a very good day! It took about 4 hours.

Cleo was fantastic, she...

Cleo was fantastic, she did a great job of providing information and details all throughout the tour. I would highly recommend her tour as the one to take.

Great experience

Such a great experience. John was great. He provided great detail and made the experience easy and fun. My kids loved it.
