Lovely experience to share a moment with a local family. We had fun while cooking, such a delicious dinner. Tasted like home.

Cooking class

Absolutely fantastic experience! The hosts were very welcoming, helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend. Oh and the food was delicious!

Fabulous experience

Thank you both for a thoroughly enjoyable and informative evening. Anjali and Arvind welcomed us warmly, taught us so much about India's people, culture and food. I can't wait to cook these dishes for my family when we return home. Blessings to you both.

Wonderful authentic Indian experience

The whole experience was a delight! Anjali and her husband are such kind people and welcomed us warmly into their beautiful home. We were encouraged to ask questions not only about cookery but about all aspects of Indian life. All the dishes were delicious and we left feeling confident we could replicate them at home. The meal was a real feast with a wonderful variety. We especially love the dal makhani! Finally, it was a lovely touch to share pictures of the experience over WhatsApp. Huge thanks for making such special memories!

Best memories of India trip

It was one of the most enjoyable memories of my trip to India. We will start with a lovely Anjali and her lovely husband. You can learn how to cook while enjoying chatting. You can learn how to make authentic Indian curry, and you can try it in Japan. You can have fun at your friend's house with the ease of having a party. It was a very good plan.

Wonderful culinary afternoon at Anjali's place.

I had a few days alone in Delhi and decided to learn some of their wonderful recipes. From the moment I walked through the door at Anjali and her husband's house, I felt right at home. Upon arrival we chatted for a bit and then got down to business. Anjali's patience is amazing as she explains things very delicately and makes sure you understand and know all the ingredients. I loved being able to learn from her cooking skills as everything we made was delicious! It was like visiting friends at their home. Make sure you go hungry as you will want to finish everything. The best hosts with whom you will laugh, cook and have a great afternoon. I will be back!

Chez Anjali is the best!

We felt like we were at our friends house making dinner together, they were so welcoming and friendly. Everything was so well organized, they had great ingredients, and Anjali was a great teacher. Arvind also sent me all the recipes that we made so we can make them at home. I can't wait to make them again!

Wonderful experience

A really special evening, so welcoming and we learned so much about Indian food and how to make it. Absolutely brilliant!

THANK YOU ANJELI

Thank you Anjeli for your welcome and your generosity, it is wonderful to share your know-how and your family life. A REAL DISCOVERY.

An amazing experience into home cooking!! Would recommend to everyone Anjali and Arvind were very welcoming and kind!

Brilliant Indian Cookery lesson 5 Star

Anjali and her husband are the most charming of hosts and it was a great pleasure for me to spend a delightful evening with them. I learned a lot about how to do proper Indian cooking from Anjali and she was a very patient teacher. I can't wait to put my new found skills to the test when I return to Australia. My thanks to you both for making the evening interesting and very enjoyable.

A fabulous experience not to be missed

We booked this tour for our first night in Dehli . The welcome we received from Anjali and her husband Arvind as they welcomed us into their home was amazing. We had a chat before we headed into the kitchen where Anjali taught us how to make veg pakora and masala chai which we then sat down to eat and drink. This was amazing. After that we made paneer masala curry, aloo jeera, mint and coriander chutney sauce, basmati rice and rotis before sitting down to eat. Anjali was amazing and so patient with us and kept us right to make such lovely food. The conversations we had with both of them about their lives , family and culture were fascinating. Hopefully they found our stories enjoyable too. This far exceeded my expectations and would recommend everyone to do it as part. If your trip to Dehli. You will not be disappointed. Would def do again next time I am in Dehli. as a bonus they sent us the recipes for everything we made so we can try when we get back home.

Wonderful and authentic cooking and diner experience

We had a very good time with Anjali and Arvind. We learned a lot of things during the cooking class orchestrated by Cheffe Anjali : choice of ingredients and spices, many explanations on the indian meal traditions, preparation of the diner from A to Z including the chapati (traditional bread) making. The food was excellent! Thanks again Anjali and Arvind for your kindness and for this wonderful and memorable experience in Delhi !

A Delhi highlight

Such an awesome experience, both Anjali and her husband Arvind were so warm, funny and hospitable. We made a tonne of delicious food - more than we could possibly eat. And the whole time, Anjali directed us like a pro - with a smile. Definitely give this experience a go and definitely go hungry - you’ll be fed very well.

Our trip would not have been the same without this!! Highly highly recommend

One of the highlights of our entire trip to India! Anjali and Arvind are both so wonderful and immediately made us feel at home in their apartment. The meal was absolutely fantastic. And we learned so much about Indian cuisine from Anjali, and chatted with Arvind (over a glass of Indian rum) about pretty much everything else. Couldn’t recommend this more!

Fantastic experience

We've spent amazing evening on cooking-class with Anjali. She and her husband are amazing hosts and from Anjali we learned a lot about the Indian kitchen, about spices and flavours. She taught us how to cook absolutely delicious food! I can highly recommend this experience, if you are in New Delhi you have to try it!

Highly reccomend

They are very nice people who change your evening into an amazing indian experiance full of tasty food. Highly reccomend

A fun and delicious experience with plenty of practical advice to take home!

A wonderful experience! Anjali is a patient teacher, and her recipes are easy to follow and delicious to eat. We started by making pakoda, which are quick and easy to fry up, meaning we had something to nibble on as we worked on the main courses. Anjali and her husband gave practical tips to help understand the recipes and how to tweak them at home. She also talked us through the ingredients and provided a PDF with all the recipes, so I was able to buy all the relevant spices and ingredients the next day before flying home. I left with new recipes and the confidence to cook them, a ton of photos and videos, and of course unforgettable memories!

A wonderful evening with Anjali!

We had the best time with Anjali! The food she selected for us to make was perfect - a nice mix of snacks, currys and breads, and her instruction was fantastic - very clear and patient with us, taking the time to explain each step. I enjoyed getting a great insight into Indian home cooking. The food was delicious and the pleasure of spending an evening with Anjali and her husband was a highlight of our trip to India - they were so kind and welcoming - made us feel very at home!

Amazing experience!!!

We had an amazing experience cooking here with a group of 7 people. Anjali and Arvind are incredibly nice and explain a lot about the spices and the Indian cuisine. We made several vegetarian dishes which all tasted amazing. Afterwards we were also provided with the recipes so we can try and recreate the dishes at home. What I really loved about this particular course, is that it is held at their house which also gives you a good image of the culture. Their hospitality is remarkable and I would recommend this course for anyone!

A true cooking experience !😁

A very nice moment spent with Anjali and her husband. A warm welcome. We participated in preparing veg mix curry, paneer masala, cumin rice, rotis and parathas. It was very instructive. To be part of the process and then share lunch with them was a memorable moment. Thanks indeed😁🙏🏼

Excellent cooking lesson

Very nice cooking experience with friendly couple in their house. The foodprocessor was very nice. It was a very warm welkome. We recommand this cooking class.

A must visit!!

It was an amazing cooking class, it should not be missed if you're visiting Delhi. Starting off with masala chai, we made about 5 dishes in total and everything tasted sooo good. Anjali is a great chef and teacher with very clear instructions. It was fun to learn about the spices too!

Cooking+ together with Anjali and Arvid

After a warm welcome we prepared different kind of meals and 3 sorts of bread. Very clear and nice instructions. We felt at home a lot. The hosts were so kind and open, they taught us more than just cooking skills! Wonderfull afternoon spent well with beautiful people.

Excellent experience with locals

The cooking class with Anjali was excellent. We learned a lot about Indian cuisine and enjoyed the evening with her and her husband. First we drank a masala chai before we went to the kitchen. We have prepared the two dishes vegetable masala and paneer masala with much love. We were also thrilled with the way the chapatis and parathas were made. It takes a lot of time but these were also very tasty. Highly recommend this cooking class.

Amazing hosts, delicious food

Amazing evening in the company of Anjali and Arvind. Both are amazing hosts and the food was absolutely delicious. I learnt a lot 👩‍🍳 from Anjali. Thank you for making my first day in Delhi and India so special and memorable. 🙏

It Felt Like Home

We had a fantastic time. In addition to learning how to cook a very delicious Indian dish, we felt like we were visiting friends. I would take this course again (to learn another recipe), and to enjoy the dinner conversation.

Cooking lessons by Anjali

We, as a KLM crew, booked last minute this cooking lesson and we were warm welcomed by Anjali and Arvind. Together we cooked with Anjali. With fresh ingredients and lots of explanations we cooked paneer masala, a vegetable masala plus we made chapati which was fun to do! And the best part after cooking is eating together 🧡 Thank you so much for this amazing experience! 🙏🏽

A nice time in a nice Indian home

Anjali and her family are super nice and sweet. My husband and I booked a cooking class for our anniversary, and they went the extra mile to give us a beautiful experience. They made us feel welcomed, and we really enjoyed learning more about Indian cuisine and culture. It felt more like a visit to acquaintance then like a class. The food was genuine and good, we can't wait to replicate what we prepared back home! Also, the house and the kitchen were very clean.

Amazing authentic experience

We loved our evening at Anjali's family home with her daughter and husband. The food was delicious and we will definitely be trying to replicate the same recipes when we get home! We were made to feel at home, they were all very welcoming and friendly, conversation was easy, and the time went very quickly! We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who comes to Delhi and we would do this again :) We had good communication prior to the evening and they even got the taxi to pull up right outside so we didn't get wet in the torrential rain! Thank you!

Dont hesitate, very Nice experience!

A different cooking class as you are welcome in the family of Anjali. Very Nice cook, talk about India. A beautiful moment To share a very good experience! N'hésitez pas, allez-y!

A Great Evening

I had a few hours spare in Delhi so I decided to attend this cooking demonstration and meal. It was one of the highlights of my 17 day trip to India and would suggest that if you have a few hours free then this is a great thing to do. We cooked a Mutton (Goat) curry at my request, together with Paneer Masala (Cheese), Rice and breads. Once the meal was cooked we all sat down to eat together. It was a great opportunity to meet and talk with a real Indian family. Highly recommended.

Great birthday!!

I got the cooking demonstration as a birthday present from my partner and it was fantastic. Anjali makes you feel more than welcome in her kitchen. She prepared all the ingredients in advance so you can get a glimpse of Indian flavours before you start cooking. The explanations of Anjali and her daughter were very interesting and versed not only about how to cook but also about the uses and origins of spices. They took pictures and videos while we were cooking. The food cooked was very representative of India: paneer masala, chicken masala, mix veggies, rice, roti and parantha. Dinner time was great. We had the opportunity to discuss with the family about Indian life and culture, including details about hinduism. And we laughed a lot. Btw, my partner had the fantastic idea of asking them for a birthday cake and Anjali's family managed everything: they bought the cake and the candles, and made me feel like a birthday at home. Totally recommended.

Accueil sympathique !
