    This 4-star urban hotel is located on a main road in Glasgow. There are many options for nightlife and entertainment just outside the door. It is about 8 miles to Glasgow - Glasgow Airport (GLA) Airport.


    Facilities
    The hotel was built in 1842. The hotel has 2 suites and 94 double rooms, which are located on 5 stories and are reachable by elevator. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a coat check, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on vacation. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the parking lot. Further services include a childcare service, room service, a laundry service and a hairdresser. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. 6 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.


    Rooms
    Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.


    Meals
    Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room, a bar and a pub. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. Catering options include a bed and breakfast package and half board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request.
